The party quieted down here, and the existence called “Seki Tetsuo mikoto*” sent uta (verse) to my companion, who was a scribe, to appreciate her.

To the companion Uta (verse) on February 7th (7)

ta chi ta ru a shi no
tsu e zu e ni
yu ku ki mi wa re to
hi ka n na ga ra
“Seki Tetsuo mikoto

Subsequently, uta (verse) from Tsukishiro-no-miya that we visited on that day was sent to me.

To Mr. Seki Tetsuo Uta (verse) on February 7th (8)
Yu ki yu ki te shi n ku n
a fu sa ka no
ko ni ki ta ri
a ma no ya no na no
“Tsukishiro-no-miya”

Then, uta (verse) was sent from Nichiren.

To Mr. Seki Tetsuo Uta (verse) on February 7th (9)
Chi nu ra re shi

“Nichiren”

To my companion Uta (verse) on February 7th (10)
Wa re mo ma ta
ki mi to i ku
hi ka gu ra no
shi zu ma no mo ri no
hi no ki no shi zu ku
“Nichiren”

Shi zu ma no mo ri is Mt. Hiei where Nichiren had practices. As is unusual with my companion, she explained so. After that, uta (verse) was sent from my father.

To Mr. Seki Tetsuo Uta (verse) on February 7th (11)

ta chi i de ru

“Seki Kenji mikoto*
